Small Produce Tote
This is the subscription to our summer CSA tote program. The small tote box contains a sampling of seasonal fresh produce. Small tote includes smaller portion of 4-5 items of produce each week. Recommended for 1-2 people who love to eat produce or a family who cooks a few times a week.
This year we will be offering an exclusive (tote member only) behind the scenes tour of our growing areas- included with your tote membership. Saturday June 21st at 10a.m. (more times will be added as needed). Take a wagon ride around the farm with stops at our high tunnels and fields, learning a little about our systems and growing methods along the way. You'll have the chance to ask questions with our produce grower.
New this season:
Tuttle's pick up will be offered on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Your day will not change from week to week. Please select the day of the week you will pick up every week.
Location pick ups will only be offered one day specific to that location.
Wednesday pick up includes: Branded Exchange, North Mass Boulder, Half Liter BBQ, Irvington Vinyl and Books.
Thursday pick up includes these locations: Palette and Paper, Geist Coffee, Wasson Nursery, Indiana Artisan
Dates for 2025 season are:
Thursdays, May 22nd- August 28th.
OR
Wednesdays, May 21st- August 27th.
What would be included in my small tote?
Smaller portion of 4-5 seasonal produce items.
Recommended for 1-2 people who love produce or a family who only cook a few times a week.
You pay for 14 weeks; one vacation week is included for the summer season. If you don't submit a vacation week, we will make your vacation week the last week of the season (August 27th/28th.)
1) Choose if you will pick up at Tuttles or a pick up location.
2) If choosing Tuttles decide on Wednesday or Thursday pick up (if choosing pick up location: confirm the day of the week and times of pick up will work for you).
3) choose to pay in full up front or for the billing option. The following is the break down of these options:
- $28/week Tuttles pickup/paid in full ($392 total)
- $33/week Tuttles pickup/monthly billing ($462 total) *$66 at sign up/ $132 June 1st/ $132 July 1st/ $132 August 1st
- $31/week delivered to pickup location/paid in full ($434 total)
- $36/week delivered to pickup location/monthly billing ($504 total) *$72 at sign up/ $144 June 1st/ $144 July 1st/ $144 August 1st
PLEASE NOTE: pick up location are NOT required to keep any totes not picked up on the day of scheduled pick up (they will give to employees or donate). If you think you might not be able to pick up until later in the week please choose Tuttles as your pick up spot as we will hold on to them in our cooler to keep the produce fresh for you.
You will receive a welcome email in May with all of the program info that will cover all tote program information. The tote emails will come from a different email system so please check your spam folder. If you don't have any emails by the first week of totes please email : heather@tuttleorchards.com so make sure we have the correct email.
You will receive an email every Monday with anticipated contents of the tote that week to help you plan ahead. On your pick up day you will receive a reminder email to pick up your tote, it will include a picture of what is in the tote, some storage and usage tips, as well as some recipe ideas for some of your produce.

In the last few years, I have sought out the opportunity to try new fruits and vegetables. Things I may not have experienced before, or even new recipes for items I am used to. Tuttles totes make a great opportunity for expanding that experience. Trying new recipes is fun and learning the proper storage techniques for my fresh produce has been quite interesting. Most of all, there is a real comfort in knowing the health benefits of farm fresh additions to our meals.
I love the weekly small tote! I've been a Tuttles devotee for more than 20 years but this is the first time I've taken part in the CSA program. I've thought about trying it out for a couple of years and am so glad I finally took the plunge. I am having a blast trying vegetables I've never tried before, researching recipes and discovering new favorites. I appreciate all of the guidance on storage and recipes. I feel like I am supporting a local business, sustainable farming practices, other local growers, all while reaping health benefits. I'm hooked and will definitely be doing it again!
I am loving receiving a small tote each work with different items. It’s been fun to experiment with different fruits and vegetables. I had never cooked turnips and when they were in my tote I roasted them and they were delicious. Also loved the bok choy which I had never purchased at the store. This is widening my cooking experiences. thank you!
We received our 1st tote of the season and are enjoying every product- it’s all so fresh and tasty! Nice balance of fruit and veggies.
