Spring Break Fun in the Greenhouse!!!

Looking for something fun for your kids to do while they are on spring break?

Tuttle Orchards is offering a fun learning opportunity for elementary aged kids and their parents to explore some science on the farm.  This experience lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes and is designed for children 5 to 10 years old.

Experience includes:

• Observation and discussion about seeds, roots, stems, leaves, and flowers.
• Time in the greenhouse to see how plants are grown and transplanted.
• Talk about how things grow in a hands-on environment.
• Skit for the students to learn about photosynthesis.
• Hands on planting activity with a plant to take home.

Tickets

$10.00 - For 1 Child (ages 2 to 13) PLUS 1 Adult.  Includes the lesson, greenhouse tour, and a hands-on planting activity for the child.  Adults may help their child with the planting activity, but they will not get their own plant.  

$10.00 - For 1 Additional Child (ages 2 to 13).   Includes the lesson, greenhouse tour, and a hands-on planting activity for the child.  Adults may help their child with the planting activity, but they will not get their own plant.  

$4.00 - For 1 Additional Spectator Ticket (ages 14 and up).  You will get 1 adult free with each child ticket. If you have more adults than children attending, then any additional spectators MUST purchase a $4.00 ticket to attend this event.  Adults may help their child with the planting activity, but they will not get their own plant.   

Kids 1 & under - Free (with a paid sibling) if they don’t plan to participate in the activity.  They will need to sit on an adult's lap or in a stroller as seating may be limited.  Some choose to purchase tickets for their 12-23 months kids who want to participate in the planting activity.  Parents can choose based on their child’s needs.

Location:

Tuttle Orchards - 5717 North 300 West in Greenfield

Please park in the big parking lot on the west side of the street. Go across the street the the Shed to check-in for this event, which is located in the white building past the Greenhouse and Cafe. Please look for signs near the Greenhouse to help direct you to the Shed. 

Refunds:

This event will be held rain or shine. This is a non-refundable event.

Additional Information:

Classes that do not meet the minimum requirements will be cancelled 1 week prior to the class.

The FarmYard will not open in March and April, except for our Easter Event.
